Her college education was at the Melitopol Institute of Agricultural Mechanization. After her college degree, Galina went on to further her education at the Russian State Agrarian University – Moscow Timiryazev Agricultural Academy. She is an outspoken figure who does not back down with criticisms. In 2017, she claimed to have voted for Viktor Yushchenko but was dissatisfied by his presidency.
